Johan Grimonprez in conversation with Dirk De Wit

Johan talked about the restauration and re-editting of his older work and showed pieces of ‘Nimdol’ (his first work), ‘Kobarweng’ (which is actually based on the research he did for ‘Nimdol’), ‘California’, ‘Corner of Canal’, ‘Smell the Flowers While You can’ (part of the programme ‘Besmette Stad’, made for the VRT, Flemish public broadcaster), ‘Lost Nation’ (part of the media library project with Herman Asselberghs and Dieter Lesage bearing the same title), and the project he’s working on since a few years, ‘Looking For Alfred’. The older works will be compiled on a DVD, some time in 2008.
